Chris was married to Norine Howell on January 24, 1981, they were married for 45 years. He grew up in Okmulgee and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1980. He worked in the oil field industry and was a machinist for many years. Chris was known to be very intelligent , funny, giving, and a loving person everyone enjoyed being around. He was a member of Old Post Cowboy Church in Henryetta. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Melvin Ray Dildine, Francis (Forrest) Dildine and brother-in-law Bob Cooley.

He is survived by his wife Norine Didine of the home, two children, Deanna Colpitt of Okmulgee, and Dena Van Straten and husband Chad of Okmulgee. Two grandchildren, Cameron Colpitt of Okmulgee and Madyson Colpitt of Preston. One brother, Charlie Dildine and wife Teresa of Okmulgee, one sister Cheryl Cooley of Okmulgee and an abundance of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cameron Colpitt, Randy Howell, Chad Van Straten, Hunter McWhirt, Charlie Dildine, Chip Dildine, Erick Randleman and Ryan Randleman.

There will be no viewing per Chris’s request.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at Salt Creek Cemetery with Rev. Clint Sinclair officiating. Services under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
